“Her career has encompassed periods of major shifts to the aviation sector’s operations, and Christina has been at the forefront of driving policy changes, improving safety while enhancing passenger experience, and most significantly, being part of the implementation of the Air Security Officer program in Australia in the wake of the September 11 attacks in the United States of America.
“Leading over 2000 aviation security staff, frontline and corporate, at Certis, Christina will drive the company's strategic vision to enhance aviation security services across the Australian market. As part of her remit, she will oversee the organisation’s security services at major airports including Adelaide, Canberra, and Sydney, working to make these sites safer, smarter and better.”
Certis says Rose will also be working closely with senior management to establish Certis’ “Aviation Centre of Excellence” - bringing together a dedicated team of experts in Aviation Security within Certis to drive operational excellence and efficiencies while enhancing the level of service and security across aviation operations.
“Christina’s return to Certis is part of the company’s new chapter, anchored by the vision to deliver the highest level of security services and driven forward by innovation.”
"I'm returning at a key point in the business’s evolution. My focus is to unite our nationally spread team to deliver aviation security services that exceed regulatory standards, adapt to emerging threats and foster a secure travel experience for passengers and our importantly our frontline staff,” Rose said.
“The ‘people’ part of our business is my key priority. If you look after your people, they will look after your customers and your business will thrive. I started my working life as an Educator, and the fundamentals of respect, understanding, recognition and effective communication underpin my approach to shaping how the Certis aviation teams operate.”
Certis Australia Chief Operating Executive Brett Pickens, welcomed Christina Rose to the leadership bench, noting, "Christina's deep expertise in managing complex security operations will be instrumental in enhancing our services. Her appointment underscores our commitment to expanding Certis' footprint in the aviation industry, where we currently service several of Australia’s major airports."
