SanDisk's iNAND Extreme embedded flash drives are optimised for use with the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor for performance and reliability.
Tegra 4 includes a quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 CPU and 72 Nvidia GeForce GPU cores for performance, graphics capability and battery life. The use of iNAND Extreme extends this performance gain to storage I/O - allowing, for example, faster multi-shot photography.
The reference designs use iNAND Extreme in capacities from 16GB to 32GB, but the iNAND family is available versions from 4GB to 128GB.
"We knew we needed to offer an outstanding SanDisk flash memory storage solution to match up to Nvidia's impressive Tegra 4 processor," said SanDisk senior vice president of OEM marketing Drew Henry.

Nvidia mobile business unit senior vice president Phil Carmack endorsed SanDisk's product, saying "By pairing Tegra 4 with the iNAND Extreme, smartphone and tablet makers can create faster, quicker mobile devices with an even better consumer experience."
