Apple disappoints market with iPhone 4S, but SIRI shines
Apple's new CEO Tim Cook had the unenviable task of disappointing the market by failing to deliver the iPhone 5 today, with a resulting sharp drop in the company's shares. However, the new iPhone 4S is a significant improvement and there were plenty of other exciting announcements, including a new voice controlled virtual personal assistant called SIRI.

iPad 2, AirPlay and Firemint take on Wii U
With a new home console on the way, and a revolutionary new controller to accompany it, some would argue that the Nintendo Wii U 'won' this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles. But it looks like local Melbourne based developer Firemint will trump the Nintendo experience with its Real Racing 2 HD for iPad making a spit screen appearance using iOS 5 and AirPlay.
