While cheap Laser-branded Android tablets are on sale at Officeworks for under $100, a higher quality entry-level tablet is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, and while its specs are at the value end of the scale, it still looks like a great tablet to consume media, play games, do email, social media, surf the web, run apps and be a digital window to the connected world.

Arriving in Australia from January 28, 2021, the A-series A15 is billed as having "the hallmark of premium features and affordable prices", and at A$239 it is certainly affordable, but at the price you obviously won't get the flagship performance of phones $1000 and up.
