Microsoft slips free development tools to students

A program to put Microsoft's developer and design tools into the hands of students has been extended to cover Australian universities and TAFE colleges.

A 2006 Web-conducted survey of students on seventy colleges and universities across the United States has shown that 15 out of 100 college students have seriously thought about suicide to solve their problems.

NASA considers American Student Moon Orbiter

The ASMO (American Student Moon Orbiter) concept would be a series of student-led projects geared to provide space exploration experience to students at universities. NASA is asking universities to let them know if their students are interested in helping the United States explore the Moon.
