Australian telecommunications distributor Powertec Telecommunications has released an active distributed antenna system hybrid known as Cel-Fi QUATRA that is claimed to be able to provide an uniform, high-quality mobile signal in a building that ranges in size from 900 square metres to 46,000 square metres.
A claimed "revolutionary, world-first" connectivity module from communications provider Powertec, dubbed myinsight, promises to shake-up the IoT/E (Internet of Things/Everything) space, and it has been done by an Australian company.
Cel-Fi has released the Cel-Fi Pro for Telstra – a 3/4G/4GX/HSPA/LTE signal booster for its 700 and 1800MHz networks. Does it work? YES (apologies to Optus).
