The Kaiser Family Foundation announced its report “Generation M2: Media in the Lives of 8- to 18-Year-Olds” has shown that children in the United States use entertainment media devices for 53 hours in an average week, and compress nearly 11 hours of multimedia use in a 7.5-hour period each day.

Pay for e-News? Not likely sir!

Four years ago I wrote an article about the fast approaching demise of the print news business. That day is just about upon us and judging by the actions of Hearst, one the largest newspaper publishers in the world, many old world media players are still flailing around punching air trying to figure out how to stay in business.

Forget the IP phone, here comes the media phone

There will be 31 million voice-centric IP phones in businesses around the world by 2013, according to market researcher In-Stat, but less than a tenth of this number in households were anew device category, the media phone, is fast emerging.
