New Zealand has experienced its strongest year of PC shipments in 2020, with the technology analyst firm IDC putting it down to demand for devices to be used in education and switching from desktops to notebooks. But the company predicted that 2021 shipments would drop by 5.5%.
PC shipments to New Zealand grew 1.6% year-on-year in the third quarter, with 168,000 units being shipped, the research firm IDC says, adding that this jump was expected to be temporary.
