Despite Hasbro suing Asus for seemingly blatantly copying terms like 'Transformer' and 'Prime', much like LG seems to have done with its 'Optimus' range (without getting sued, as yet), the latest Asus Android tablet, with fresh cream that's icy and covered in chocolate biscuit, has finally made its way to Australia.
An earlier generation of convertible tablets had their fans but failed to win widespread favour. Asus hopes it Eee Pad Slider will prove popular, but the pricing practices of the three Australian retailers could cause confusion.
Ok, so this Honeycomb 3.0 tablet with a snap on, snap off keyboard and mouse, featuring 16 hours of total battery life and a full touch screen, and while there's no 3G version yet, it's a form factor and detachable keyboard design I've waited years for manufacturers (beyond Motion) to deliver!
