  • Entrepreneurs who choose to opt out of higher education are just as likely as those who pursue it to earn $180,000+ per year, GoDaddy research suggests
  • Of those surveyed, one in five business owners in each group – those with and those without a degree – reported that they earn over $180,000 from their ventures
  • The findings suggest that a “generational mindset shift” may be underway, with a fifth of entrepreneurs surveyed under 30 starting a business straight after high school and not moving onto university
  • Over three-quarters (76%) of entrepreneurs surveyed who didn’t attend university say they are glad not to have the debt burden

New GoDaddy research revealed the proportion of Aussie microbusiness entrepreneurs without a degree who earn over $180,000 a year is almost the same as those who did attend university, highlighting that individuals who don’t pursue a degree may still find entrepreneurship to be a valuable and rewarding path.
