AFR-IX Telecom awarded €14.3 million grant from EU for Medusa Africa subsea cable

African telecoms and infrastructure operator AFR-IX Telecom has secured new funding in the form of a €14.3 million grant from the European Commission (EC) to support the Medusa Africa submarine cable system through the EU's CEF Digital programme.
