Pax8, the leading cloud commerce marketplace, announced the appointment of Marianne Wolf as its Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer. In this role, Wolf is responsible for leading the global ethics and compliance program, which includes overseeing cross-functional internal teams responsible for managing the company’s compliance and risk profile. Wolf reports to Carrie Schiff, Chief Legal Officer at Pax8.

“We are thrilled to have Marianne, a well-established leader in compliance among tech firms, create a world-class ethics and compliance program for Pax8,” said Schiff. “As we rapidly increase the technological advances in the Pax8 Marketplace and our company continues to grow globally, it is critical that we are leaders in legal and regulatory compliance, protecting data and privacy in all that we do. Marianne is the perfect person to make a lasting impact on Pax8 and our industry in these areas.”

Wolf is an accomplished senior executive and legal professional with over 30 years of experience in multidisciplinary management roles for global publicly held organisations. Her expertise includes compliance and investigations, litigation and disputes, labour and employment, regulatory and commercial transactions. Prior to joining Pax8, Marianne served as the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer for Splunk and Flex, both public companies in the technology space.

“I am very excited to join this dynamic organisation with a great future ahead and so many opportunities for growth and success,” said Wolf. “I am honoured to get the chance to apply my expertise and knowledge in this space to establish Pax8 as a leader in ethics and compliance, especially with the advances in AI, and the ever-changing technology landscape.”
