Tapestry spreads to iOS Featured

By

iOS and web versions of Tapestry expand the reach of the seniors-oriented online platform.

As previously reported, Tapestry is a system designed for older people to simplify the use of social media and other online services.

Tapestry makes it easy to share photos, exchange messages, and so on.

The service was originally only available on Android phones and tablets, but the company now offers a free app for iPhone and iPad, as well as a web app.

"Tapestry's goal is to provide seniors with all of the benefits of email and photo sharing with none of the hassle," said Tapestry founder and CEO Andrew Dowling.

"The iPad and iPhone are ideal for our users because they are light, easy to read and simple to navigate."

The basic service is free of charge, but a $5 per month subscription adds unlimited photo and message storage.

Tapestry has also introduced an Enterprise plan priced at $9 per user per month. This is aimed at situations such as retirement villages that can take advantage of the additional administration controls and communications capabilities that it provides.
