An Israeli couple have named their new-born daughter Like. Clearly, it's a true child of the Internet age.
Following on from the Egyptian baby
named Facebook in February, an Israeli couple, Lior and Vardit Adler, have gone one better, naming their baby Like. "In our opinion it's the modern equivalent of the name Ahava [Love]," he said according to Israeli newspaper Maariv. It's probably also the modern equivalent of years of future psycho-therapy too (and a name change!).
Seemingly far from being facebook fanatics, the baby's father had around 100 friends although
reports suggest 40 peopled liked Like as soon as the name was announced.
'Unusual' names seem to be a habit in the Adler family - their previous daughter was named Pie to celebrate their love of cooking.
Children called Pie; then Like; what next? Eat? Dessert? Coffee?
Time for bed, one might suggest.
