ASUS goes beyond the edge at Computex 2017, Taipei

ASUS is showing off five new notebooks and two new all-in-one desktops at Computex which is being held from, 30 May to 3 June in Taipei.

Most are technology updates to the latest Intel 7th generation Kaby Lake processor.

ASUS chairman Jonney Shih, said, “The Flip S is the world’s thinnest convertible at 10.9mm thick – 20% lighter and 55% thinner than a MacBook Air. It has a 4K, 13.3”, 360° screen, Intel Core i7, 11.5-hour battery life and weighs 1.1kg.”

“Even mainstream notebooks will never be the same again after the VivoBook S,” he said referring to the notebook with Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GTX 940M GPU for US$499 price.
The “edge” refers to ASUS’s nano-edge bezel which allows larger screens to fit into smaller notebooks.

    The ZenBook 3 Deluxe offers one of the largest capacity SSDs available.
  • ASUS VivoBook Pro 15 (N580): Performance is Everything
    A slim and lightweight 15.6-inch Windows 10 laptop, featuring an intelligent dual-fan cooling system with a dual copper thermal module and heat pipes.
  • ASUS VivoBook S15 (S510): Beyond the Edge
    Powered by the latest 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor with up to 16GB DDR4 memory and NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics.
  • ASUS Vivo AiO V241 Desktop
    A 23.8” Windows 10 all-in-one PC for everyday computing and home entertainment. With a powerful ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system, the PC incorporates two advanced bass-reflex speakers.
  • ASUS Zen AiO ZN242 Desktop
    The Zen ZN242 is a premium high-performance Windows 10 all-in-one PC.

The new Blue Cave Router incorporates ASUS AiProtection, the first commercial-grade security for home networks.
