Review - Mold on Pizza for Android

By

A tower "offense" game that will make you salivate with joy.

I'm a big fan of the tower defence (popularised with Plants vs Zombies) and tower offence type game.

Mold on Pizza by BTNcafe is the newest such game, available for $1.99 from the Android Google Play store.

Not only does Mold on Pizza come with fun and strategic gameplay, it will make you hungry as you watch 53 delightful molds and ingredients all storm across 192 stages and 36 achievements.

Mold on Pizza has a storyline - a cute mold named Pang is in love with a pizza. As you would appreciate, he recognised the delicious smell of a pizza and rushed towards it. However, love is not simple between mold and crust for Pang found an army of preservative troops all ready to fight mold.

Pang grew furious, and decided to gather all his friends to fight ... and here is where Pang needs your help, to control he and his friends in defeating the preservative troops so you may enjoy the pizza.

As with any tower defence game, your characters all have different special abilities making them suitable for different types of attacks or combat against certain types of enemies, and here is where the strategic element comes in.

At the end of each stage you collect pickles; collect enough pickles and you can upgrade troops into even more powerful molds!

The game is bright and colourful, and features a single-player campaign as well as player-vs-player and co-operative multiplayer.

Slay bosses, play through a wide range of stages, and also enjoy eight types of mini-games.

Mold on Pizza is absolutely a lot of fun and an entertaining twist on a classic genre.
