BitCloud eases private cloud integration

Updates to BitCloud's virtual private cloud service improve integration with office and datacentre networks.

 
BitCloud https://bitcloud.com.au/ 's virtual private cloud product can now be connected to office and datacentre networks using MPLS (multiprotocol label switching) or EoIP (Ethernet over IP). BitCloud private clouds can thus be used as a conventional private cloud, as an extension to existing infrastructure, or for disaster recovery.

 

"If you imagine having a vital office server fail unexpectedly, how long do you think it would normally take to resolve? Half a day minimum if you're lucky," said BitCloud CEO Bennett Oprysa. "With our cloud product, you would simply fire up the server instance in your private cloud and be back online within minutes. You won't even need to change IP addresses."
