I say that because the jury is out on curved TVs and monitors. When you sit 60cm in front of it, the difference becomes evident - I love it. The gentle curve –a 4000mm radius - is what a desktop should have. I would actually like to see two monitors side by side but alas, that would take up more desk space than most of us have.
The theory is that the slight curvature matches the curve of the eye, images are all the same distance from the eyes, reflection is reduced, and it offers more of a 3D view – a sense of surround. I cannot argue with that.

Out of the – big – box
It weighs 5.8Kg and has dimensions of 631.1 x 461 x 165.2. With the box (gross) it weighs 8.6kg and comes in at 754 x 582 x 225mm – make sure it fits in the car.
It comes with a 20V, 3.25A power adaptor, DVI, VGA, MHL (for smartphones and tablets and DisplayPort cables and a 3.5mm sound cable – no HDMI cable.
The MHL cable is essentially micro-USB to HDMI but it also charges the phone at the same time.
To set it up, plug in the video cable of choice, power it up, and it automatically finds the signal. It supports HDCP for audio-visual equipment like Foxtel cable boxes.
Looks
It looks like an impressive device. The fashionable design features a glossy bezel, an aluminium hairline base, and a soft-touch control bar. This simple elegant design makes the display a fitting addition for work and home environments. The curved screen makes an already sleek design even more stylish.
Quality
The 1920 x 1080HD screen appears to have good even colour, good brightness and one of the most natural colour hue’s I have seen. The VA panel has even lighting and good contrast. It is a lovely screen.
I tested this with the Asus ChromeBit (a pre-production model) and text was a little ragged (not the monitors fault) but then in testing with the Asus VivoPC and VivoMini text was razor sharp.
It auto-adjusts when you change video input.
Menu System
I will not go into the menu – suffice to say that it has all the usual settings.

Opinion
This is the first curved monitor I have reviewed and it changed my opinion – these are good. Watch out for the radius – a curve over 4m (radius) is nice. Some are curved over 3m and frankly that a little too much for me.
I would recommend it and at $485 you are probably paying about $150-185 for the over a normal flat screen. AOC’s flat IPS is around $100 cheaper.
There is still no website and international reviews are scarce.
