Find the cheapest ride with ShopBack's ride comparison

Cashback shopping platform ShopBack has introduced a ride comparison feature into its app, allowing Australians to compare prices of Uber and Ola cabs, book a ride and even get money back.

ShopBack launched three months ago on both iOS and Android and has been downloaded 60,000 times since. The company expects double-digit growth monthly.

The app connects Australian consumers with promotions and deals on partnered brands, offering a percentage of the purchase price back on every transaction.

These partnered brands count Uber and Ola cabs among them, and ShopBack has now added a ride comparison feature into the app, available right now.

This means ShopBack users can check the price of a trip to their destination within the app, and select whichever option makes the most sense, booking it right within the app, and even getting a cut of the deal back into their own pocket.

According to ShopBack’s regional numbers, a regular ride service user can save up to A$147 per month via ride comparison, which equates to A$1764 annually.

“ShopBack’s primary mission is to help users live the smarter way via money and time-saving,” says Thomas Howard, Co-founder of ShopBack Australia.

“Currently, we help our users save on their shopping by giving cashback on over 600 brands, including eBay, Deliveroo, Booking.com, Amazon and Woolworths online. With the introduction of the ride comparison feature, we aim to help our users move towards smarter cost-effective living.”
