iPhone production issues hit Foxconn profits

Taiwan company Foxconn Technology has recorded a 39% drop in profit for the quarter ending September compared to the corresponding period a year ago, a fall that appears to be attributable in part to production difficulties with the iPhone.

Voice activated robot personal assistants, gaming gears, smart office and home, educational devices and liquid-cooled open frame tempered glass PC cases.

A major iPhone assembler has reported its first annual decline in sales since it became a public entity in 1991.
