Get in the zone with Sony's Killzone competition

By

Just as Killzone 3 leaks to torrent sites, Sony has announced a competition to find the ultimate Killzone fan'¦ could it be you?

The commercially successful franchise has commanded a large following since its first title back in 2004 on PS2, with Killzone 2 on PS3 reaching sales of over a million copies after just three months of release.

The lucky winner of the competition, the 'ultimate Killzone fan', will be able to attend a special Killzone event, which is to be held in Sydney at 7PM on Tuesday the 22nd of February. Flights and accommodation are included, which is extra incentive for those of us that aren't lucky enough to live in Sydney.

The competition comes as the game has leaked for download on various torrent sites over a month before release, and is being downloaded by thousands of gamers too eager to wait.

According to Sony, the Sydney event will feature Killzone 3's multiplayer mode in stereoscopic 3D and will also feature giveaways and the opportunity to win a copy of the Killzone 3 Helghast Edition.

The Helghast Edition features a miniature helmet, which opens to reveal an art book, a Super Voucher and the Killzone 3 game. That "Super Voucher" grants access to a soundtrack, a dynamic theme, a Retro Map Pack of two Killzone 2 maps, and full weapon and ability access and double XP for the first 24 hours of multiplayer.

For anyone that wants to enter, instructions can be found here. Entries close later today, so get in quick!
