ICT project management specialist appoints five business development managers

Protegic, Australia's fastest growing specialist project management consultancy, has appointed five highly qualified business development managers to drive further expansion across Australia.

Protegic's recent success has been based on providing well-respected, independent project management advisory and resourcing services to some of Australia's best-known organisations.

The new sales team will enable Protegic to deliver the benefits of these services to a broader range of organisations, taking advantage of the very promising economic situation in Australia. The team comprises:

Cassandra Iacono in New South Wales
Katrina Hill in Victoria
Chong-Yee Ong in WA
Noel Shelton in SA
Kenny Leow in Singapore

The team will be responsible for prospecting and building awareness of the Protegic services and solutions in Australia and Singapore, creating a sustainable and growing sales pipeline of prospects and clients. The managers not only have a successful track record in achieving sales targets but also in maintaining good relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Cassandra Iacono has more than 10 years experience in IT, communications and strategic management consulting. Her previous role was NSW business development manager for CrispTech.

Katrina Hill joins Protegic from senior sales and account management roles over the past 10 years with Dell, Computer Sciences Corporation and SAP consulting services.

Chong-Yee Ong recently worked for Denver Technology in WA and has 14 years experience in the ICT sector in Australia and Asia, particularly infrastructure solutions and application development.

Noel Shelton's background is in project and business management in the IT and defence industries. A former member of the Defence Force, Noel has also worked for Digital Equipment, KAZ/Aspect and HP. He was chairman for three years of the Adelaide-based Defence Teaming Centre.

Based in Singapore, Kenny Leow has 12 years experience in the IT Industry in both pre-sales and account management. He was previously regional manager for Unify Corporation.
