Optus is showcasing the Bookful technology at its Brisbane Queen Street store with 5G bringing storytelling to life “like never before”.

The app includes special 5G features powered by Optus which it says creates a “faster, richer and more immersive experience, opening a whole new playful reading universe for children”.

“When using the app children have the opportunity to be a part of their favourite books, having the freedom to pick between diving into a magical undersea experience with Clark the Shark, seeing the towering figure of the Laughing Giraffe jump from their screen or even stepping back in time to the prehistoric age of Dinosaur Days,” says Optus.

“Optus is giving children the best early Christmas present ever with this experience; putting the future of technology in their hands. All via an app, these books were brought to life with the power of AR and showcased on a Samsung Galaxy FE 5G mobile and Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G tablet, demonstrating how 5G is taking the future of storytelling for kids to a whole new level.
