"I am excited to have Galaxy 42 join the FTS Group, further strengthening our commitment to local government, asset intensive industries and education sectors. Galaxy 42 builds on our application and integration capability and propels our market leading position in Dell Boomi and Web Methods," said FTS Group CEO Stephen Kowal.
"FTS Group is now uniquely positioned to provide best in class rapid integration services to councils around Australia, leveraging the combined capability of our ANATAS data integration expertise and Galaxy 42."
Galaxy 42 specialises in services around the TechnologyOne application suite, but also has expertise in Dell Boomi integration.
It employs more than 30 TechnologyOne consultants who are all staying with the company as it becomes part of the FTS Group.
The acquisition gives FTS an opportunity to integrate Galaxy 42's TechnologyOne and other capabilities with its its overall consulting services for health, government, education, utilities and other asset intensive industries.
Galaxy 42's existing customer base is spread across Australia, including City of Gosnells (WA), City of Kingston (Vic), Inner West Council Sydney, Port of Newcastle (NSW) and national brands such as Zenitas Healthcare.
