HEDLOC Announces Global Reseller Agreement with Jive to Drive Social Business in the APAC Region

Sydney, Australia - July 21, 2011 - Today HEDLOC announced a new global reseller agreement with Jive Software. With this agreement, HEDLOC and Jive will bring the innovation of social networking to the enterprise.

"Jive's enterprise social networking platform allows customers to engage employees, customers and the social web like never before. Jive's innovative social platform re-defines workplace collaboration and customer engagement," said Bruno Pisano, President and CEO of HEDLOC. "It's a new era for enterprise stakeholders who are constantly faced with the challenges of adopting consumer technology into the enterprise.'

"HEDLOC is uniquely positioned to extend the reach and adoption for Jive and Social Business in the APAC market," said John McCracken, SVP of Sales at Jive. "We are delighted to partner with HEDLOC and see it as a strategic initiative to help grow our presence in the region.'

Jive has been adopted by many leading global companies, including Nike, Starbucks, Cisco and SAP. The United States Intelligence Community A-Space, or Analytic Space, is one such deployment of the Jive platform.

A project from the USA's Office of the Director of National Intelligence's (ODNI) Office of Analytic Transformation and Technology to develop a common collaborative workspace for all analysts from the United States Intelligence Community (USIC). Commonly referred to by the media as 'the facebook for spies', it is accessible from common workstations and provides unprecedented access to inter-agency databases, a capability to search classified and unclassified sources simultaneously, web-based messaging, and collaboration tools. A-Space is part of what the Director of National Intelligence has identified as a critical piece of "Analytic Transformation".

To accelerate the adoption of Jive, it will now also be available through HEDLOC's unique cloud based Innovation Centre, making it easy for customers to get up and running without having to detract from their day-to-day operations.

"Most organisations struggle with innovating and the on-boarding of new technology. This is in contrast to what is happening in the consumer space, with new technology being adopted by millions of people daily. It should be just as easy for the enterprise to adopt new innovative technology, which is why HEDLOC has made a significant investment in a cloud based Innovation Centre for organisations to get going without the hassle and usual disruption," said Pisano. "Our customers will get the opportunity to experience the benefits of Jive in the enterprise in a fast-tracked way, seeing the benefits in hours or days, not the traditional weeks, months or years."

Headquartered in Sydney, Australia - HEDLOC is the leading Google Enterprise partner, exclusive Box distributor and authorised Jive Software reseller in the Asia Pacific region.
