Nimble, innovative and highly successful organisations will share their secrets with transformation leaders and mid to senior level managers at an interactive two-day conference in Sydney this September.

Building on the success of the Business Agility Conference in New York City, the Business Agility Institute (BAI) has named YOW! as the official partner for the first-ever Business Agility Conference in Australia. Business Agility Australia will equip forward-thinking organisations with the tools, structure and mindset to face hurdles without losing momentum.

Held at the Sydney Hilton on September 24 and 24, Business Agility Australia has already attracted a panel of the biggest names in the global business agility community.

Business agility endorses entrepreneurial thinking among large corporations. It recognises that traditional management and corporate governance models have been failing to keep up with the modern economy.

Proponents of business agility know that in an age of rapid change, only companies that can respond quickly to challenges without losing momentum or vision will survive. The movement embraces change through all levels of an organisation – from software developers to CEOs – and teaches how to think, work and interact through change.

CEO of the Business Agility Institute, Evan Leybourn, says “Business Agility Australia will showcase that Australia is poised to lead the world in new ways of working. The concept of Business Agility was originally adopted by the IT sector but is now gaining rapid momentum among the leaders of medium and large organisations in every industry.”

“Attending this conference is a great way for companies to install the structure, thinking and processes that will ensure they can navigate any market challenge without losing momentum. We say a business is only as agile as its least agile part, so we have created an event that will benefit everyone.”

Business Agility Australia has attracted the support of high calibre sponsors such as EPiC, Cognizant, PWC, Deloitte, ICAgile and radically. The speaker lineup of 20+ thought leaders includes Paul Cobban (Chief Data and Transformation Officer at DBS Bank Singapore), Trisca Scott-Branagan (Head of Marketing, Institutional at ANZ), Nigel Dalton (Chief Inventor, REA Group), Jason Hair (Digital GM, Woolworths), and Paul Lewis (Executive Manager, Bankwest).

Each day, 10 diverse business agility leaders will share their stories through a series of 20-minute talks followed by an interactive deep dive session. Speakers will cover the full spectrum of lean and agile transformation, from embracing change to developing leadership strategies, structuring a company for agility, compliance, budgeting and accounting strategies, HR policies and innovation.

YOW!, a global events organisation, is partnering with the Business Agility Institute to launch the conference in Australia, in what is intended to be an annual event.

Dave Thomas, Chairman of YOW! says, “We believe that the unpredictable nature of the Australian economy requires new ways of thinking and working. This is business agility.  And this is why we are excited to partner with the Business Agility Institute to bring their global conference to Australia.”

Delegate registrations are currently open, and passes can be purchased at https://businessagility.yowconference.com.au/
