This allows Azure Sentinel customers incorporate the Apple-specific security insights, malicious activity reporting and malware prevention of Jamf Protect into their security operations system.
The integration provides for a comprehensive flow of data from Jamf Protect into Microsoft Azure Sentinel, with simple configuration and no impact to end-user devices.
"Jamf's Azure Sentinel integration is an exciting extension to our existing story with Microsoft," said Jamf director of security product strategy Josh Stein.
"These integrations provide organisations with the benefits of endpoint security management purpose-built for each unique platform, while optimising workflows and enhancing investments made in the Microsoft ecosystem."
Thanks to Jamf's acquisition of patch management specialist Mondada, Jamf Pro is able to update more than 100 new software titles, including many of the most commonly-installed Mac apps.
This will help ensure that end users have the most current and secure versions of apps, all at no additional cost.
Jamf will continue to add new titles supported by Mondada's Kinobi product, will consider all requests from Jamf Nation (the company's Apple IT management forum) for additional titles.
