Danish brand Jabra has been engineering quality audio equipment since 1983, specialising in wireless, true wireless and corded headphones for consumers and business customers.
The Jabra Elite Active 75t is among the company’s newest releases with four specific design goals - secure fit, great audio and calls, waterproof, and designed for sport. It’s this last part which specifically makes the 75t “active”, for active people, with active lifestyles. It’s for people who move and sweat and swim, but still want to enjoy the best of their music or engage in calls without worry the earbuds will fall out or fail from liquids.

Hearthrough mode allows you to pay attention to your surroundings without removing the earbuds, while the four microphone cell technology ensures clear pick up when you are speaking. The free smartphone Jabra Audio+ app provides additional customisations to help immerse you in your music. Several replace ear cups of differing sizes are included to help ensure the best fit.
For those who like the technology and love great audio, but aren’t as keen on the sporting side, the Jabra Elite 75t contains all the same specs excluding the IP57 rating.
With Bluetooth 5.0, active noise cancelling, and a range of other features that appear in contrast to the earbud’s diminutive size, these earbuds truly let you sweat up a storm in the gym, on a run or elsewhere while making the bustle of the world around you totally optional.
iTWire trialled the earbuds and while our level of physical activity might not quite be considered extreme, they certainly held up to a good long walk outside, time pounding a treadmill and rowing machine, and even karate kata practice. Certainly, the sweat was pouring, and the entire time the earbuds remained snug and secure, and the audio clear and comfortable.
The Jabra Elite Active 75t has an RRP of $329 but is available at prices between $245 and $279. It includes a two-year warranty against dust and sweat.
