Alogic has released two multi-country GaN chargers and three rapid in-car chargers. The variations are on the number and type of USB ports they provide.
Now, car chargers and USB power chargers are commonplace. Yet Alogic has come out with innovative new devices that are an essential purchase for frequent flyers, or road warriors, or ... you know what? Regular folk too. If you travel often these are excellent chargers. However, they're still excellent chargers even if you prefer to stay put.
What makes this so are several factors. These units deliver fast charging, they support USB-C along with USB-A, and they are small and portable yet can charge laptops as well as tablets and phones, even the car chargers. Also, the multi-country chargers use GaN semiconductor technology and come with a wonderful travel case. Let's take a look.
|
The car chargers come in three models:
- 100W power with USB-C and USB-A Ports
- 30W power with USB C and USB A Ports, and
- 30W power with 2 X USB-C Ports
They have a small form factor, barely peeking out of your car's cigarette lighter or power charger with the sockets on the head of the charger instead of the typical barrel format.
Meanwhile, the multi-country chargers come in two models:
- 2x USB-C ports, 1x USB-A port, 4x interchangeable plugs, and
- 1x USB-C port, 4x interchangeable plug types
Both are 67W chargers, and because they use GaN (Gallium Nitrate) semiconductor technology they can deliver power faster, and with less heat, than previous generations of power chargers. And, by generating less heat, they can afford to be in a much smaller housing than previous chargers too.
Thus, the result is a super-portable all-in-one charger that lets you charge your laptop, tablet, and phone at the same time, from one power plug whether you're in Australia, the US, the UK, or Europe. It's literally the one charger you need that you can use at home, in the airport, on the plane, and at the other end of your travels. Plus it comes in an attractive, padded travel case with slots for the charger and interchangeable plugs, as well as a section for you to store your cables. What's more, it comes with a USB-C cable too!
