Pivotel's network has a particular emphasis on the enterprise and government markets. The company already distributes satellite and mobile phone services from companies such as Iridium, Inmarsat and Thuraya.

"Notwithstanding the disruption caused by COVID-19, global demand for always connected solutions, whether for remote communications or IoT applications, is growing.

In related news, Beam has received a $75,000 follow-up order for Inmarsat terminals and accessories from Indian reseller Station Satcom.
The reseller said further orders could follow from a number of current quotations provided to various government project.
