The imagePrograf TZ-30000 Series – initially available as a 91cm (36in) model – is designed for high productivity, high quality prints and high print speed, according to the company.
It is said to be particularly suitable for use in architecture, engineering, construction and manufacturing, professional print service providers and copy shops.
Specifications include print speeds up to four A1 CAD pages per minute, 700ml ink tanks, dual roll feeds, and an output stacker holding up to 100 A0 sheets.
Media rolls and Lucia TD inks can be replenished while printing continues, and the the type and size of the media loaded are automatically determined.
All file data can be erased from the hard disk once each print job is completed. An optional PIN code and interface security can be used to control access.
The TZ-30000 series is expected to arrive in June 2021.
The imagePrograf TX Series produces borderless prints from a PC or a USB stick at up to 3.2 pages per minute.
Like the TZ-30000 Series, it uses Lucia TD inks, automatically detects the media type and width, and has a front stacker that can hold up to 100A0 prints.
Dual roll operation is optional, and allows up to 350 metres of uninterrupted printing from two rolls of the same media, or switching between two rolls of different media types.
It comes in three single-function models – 61cm (24in) imagePrograf TX-2100, 91cm (36in) imagePrograf TX-3100, and 112cm (44in) imagePrograf TX-4100 – and three multifunction versions using Canon's new scanner technology – imagePrograf TX-2100 MFP Z24, imagePrograf TX-3100 MFP Z36 and imagePrograf TX-4100 MFP Z36.
