Australian data analytics company Zetaris has appointed Martin Cerantonio to the role of vice president for global alliances.

"Zetaris is in fast growth mode and scaling domestically and internationally. Our channel partner strategy is key to success in expanding our international networks and totally revolutionising the way organisations manage their data and extract insights in real-time," said Zetaris founder and CEO Vinay Samuel.

"I am delighted to welcome Martin to the team. He's an experienced channel manager, who will be pivotal in helping us completely change the way businesses harness the power of their data."

Cerantonio joins Zetaris from Collibra, where he worked as APAC channel and alliances lead.

He previously worked in channels management at Imperva, Tableau and DocuSign.

Earlier in his career Cerantonio held sales roles at Salesforce, Optus, Motorola Solutions, VMware and Dell, after working as a consultant at ANZ Bank, Gen-i and Dimension Data.

He holds a BSc in computer science from Victoria University.

"The Zetaris channel ecosystem is significantly expanding as the company takes its industry-leading data analytics network global," said Cerantonio.

"With new offices opening in Europe and the United States, there's an amazing opportunity for our partners to share in the potential and help their customers unlock data insights quicker in a more affordable way than ever before."

He added "Organisations building data smart, data warehouse and cloud database solutions will be able to accelerate their development time tenfold, without the need for expensive data preparation or monolithic data platforms."
