Syspro hires Bennett to lead global channels

ERP specialist Syspro has appointed Michael Bennett to the role of global channel executive.

"Michael is an outstanding addition to the Syspro team, as he brings a deep understanding of channel and what it takes to deliver partner success. He has an impressive track record of translating strategy into tangible results," said Syspro chief sales and marketing officer Sandra Fraga.

"He is committed to building the partner community globally and delivering on a partner-first approach. Expanding our channel business globally is a strategic imperative for Syspro and Michael's drive and 'win together' mindset will serve our channel well as we gear up for our next stage of growth,

Bennett joins the company from Crayon, where he worked as commercial and channel director for Africa.

He previously worked for Liquid Telecom as cloud business development group executive at Liquid Telecom, and for Microsoft in a variety of roles culminating in partner business and development manager for West, Central and East Africa and the Indian Ocean islands.

Bennett also served as a director of Blueplan Solutions and of Gordon Bennett.

He holds a BSc in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MPhil from Stellenbosch University (South Africa).
