Swoop appoints Sean Clarke as sales chief Featured

Australian-listed fixed wireless and wholesale network infrastructure provider Swoop Holdings has appointed Sean Clarke as Group Head of Sales.

Clarke is appointef to thre new role as Swoop expands its sales lesdership team and focus on increasing the momentum in organic growth, including the appointment of Steven Hannan as Head of Marketing,

Swoop CEO Alex West, said, “We are thrilled with our new appointments at Swoop, who will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth.

“Sean is an accomplished sales leader with over 25 years’ experience building and leading B2B and B2C sales teams. Having previously worked with Sean at Vocus/Amcom, I’m excited that he has taken up a more senior role in Swoop.”

Steven Hannan brings more than 18 years of experience to Swoop delivering strategic and successful product, brand, marketing and digital B2B and B2C programs for national and global firms.

“Steven’s experience at NBN will be invaluable in growing our business in this space,” said West.

“With the integrations of the acquired businesses nearing completion, this is the perfect time to increase the capability and focus on Sales and Marketing.”

As a result of these appointments Swoop says Matt Hollis who was previously in a part-time role as the company’s Sales and Marketing Director will transition to Non-executive Director as of the 1 January 2022.

Swoop listed the ASX in May 2021, and acquired six companies since then: Beam Internet, Speedweb, Community Communications (ComComs), Countrytell, VoiceHub.
