Stevens, who will take up his new role in October, has more than 30 years of industry experience, and is currently at NBN Co as general manager of the service assurance and operations centre.
He previously worked as customer solutions and operations director at Uecomm, and implementation manager at BT Asia Pacific.
Stevens holds diploma of telecommunications from the Telecom Australia (now Telstra) Training College and and MBA from RMIT University.
