Sophos picks de Jesus to lead ANZ channels

Cybersecurity vendor Sophos has appointed Charles de Jesus to the role of ANZ channel director.

"We're delighted to have Charles join Sophos ANZ in this role, as he brings a wealth of experience with him," said Sophos ANZ managing director John Donovan.

"I have no doubt Charles will be a valuable addition to the Sophos family, not only continuing the momentum of our ANZ channel, but taking it to a new level."

de Jesus joins Sophos from Citrix where he most recently served as regional sales director.

He previously held a similar role at Riverbed Technology, and has also worked as channel development manager at NetApp, ANZ distribution manager at Avaya, commercial director at Westcon, commercial manger at Singtel Optus, and commercial manager at Nortel.

de Jesus holds a bachelor's degree from Western Wyoming Community College.

"Sophos is a global cybersecurity leader that has a reputation for putting its partners first and placing a real emphasis on the channel. This is something that resonates strongly with me, especially given I've worked on both sides of the vendor/partner relationship," he said.

"With the cybersecurity landscape ever-changing and evolving, it's vital ANZ businesses are well-equipped to defend against cybercriminals. Working closely with our channel partners is critical to achieving this, so I'm looking forward to collaborating with them and better supporting them."
