Pros makes two senior appointments

Shopping optimisation SaaS provider Pros has appointed Ajay Damani to the role of executive vice president of engineering and Sunil John to the role of chief product officer.

"I am excited to welcome these two exceptional visionaries to our executive leadership team," said Pros president and CEO Andres Reiner.

"I am confident their experience and track record in building high-performing, inclusive teams will further the passion Pros has for delivering the most innovative solutions to our customers and extend our leadership in our markets."

Damani has spent 20 years in Pros' engineering organisation, which he now oversees.

Before joining Pros he worked for IBM as a developer.

Damani holds bachelor's degrees in biology and computer science, both from the University of Texas at Austin.

"Pros engineering excellence is defined by our AI innovation and state-of-the-art platform capabilities that are unsurpassed in our industry," said Damani.

"I am honoured to lead the next chapter of technical excellence with this talented, global team to further fuel product innovation and transform SaaS solution and delivery."


John is a 16-year Pros veteran, most recently serving as vice president of B2B commerce products.

He previously worked for IIT, R7 Solutions, and BSI Consulting in senior development and architect roles.

John holds a bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
