Olaf Pietschner, formerly managing director of Capgemini in Australia and New Zealand, becomes CEO of the Asia Pacific strategic business unit.
Pietschner joined the Capgemini Group in 2017 as chief operating officer in Australia and New Zealand, and is an advocate for diversity and inclusion. In 2020, Capgemini ANZ was recognised as one of the best employers for LGBTQ inclusion and received 'gold employer' status at the Australian LGBTQ Inclusion Awards.
He has over 25 years of experience in consulting and digital transformation, including executive roles at Origin Energy, News Limited, and Deloitte.

Pietschner holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Verwaltungs und Wirtschaftsakademie (Germany).
Michael Schulte, previously managing director of Capgemini in Germany, is now CEO of the Northern Europe strategic business unit, and Jérôme Siméon, previously managing director of Capgemini in France, has been promoted to the role of CEO of the Southern Europe strategic business unit.
William Rozé, formerly executive vice-president in charge of Europe at Altran (acquired by Capgemini in 2019), is now CEO of Capgemini's engineering and R&D business line, and Pascal Brier, previously executive vice-president for strategy, technology and innovation at Altran is now Capgemini's group chief innovation officer.
Jeroen Versteeg, previously deputy CEO of Capgemini's Europe strategic business unit, has moved to the role of becomes group chief sales officer.
All six have been appointed to the company's group executive committee.
