Enterprise communications vendor Orange Business Services, part of the Orange Group (ORAN), has promoted nine year company veteran Kevin Griffen to Managing Director of its Australasian operations.

Griffen will be responsible for leading Orange customers’ digital transformation in Australasia, while setting the strategic direction of the business and driving growth across all market segments.

He previously held senior sales management roles with the company and led Orange’s expansion into the mining and resources sector, and managed strategic partner relationships in the region.

Griffen says Australasia is one of the key regions for Orange Business Services in the Asia Pacific, with customers encompassing large multinational and Australian enterprises with a strong focus on the mining and resources vertical.

“Our extensive network reach, growth in cloud services and high standards of service management have contributed to the business growth in Australasia,” Griffen said.

“Our region has produced very strong results over the last few years, witnessing significant growth in a competitive market with challenging economic conditions. With high levels of customer satisfaction and focus on innovation and productivity, we will continue to provide our customers with best in class services.”

Griffen said Orange now employs over 3,000 people in the Asia Pacific across 36 countries, providing more than 2,000 multinational customers in the region with network and managed services, cloud computing solutions and cloud-based services for unified communications and business applications.
