Ooyala moves Cummins from LatAm to APJ

By

Media software and services company Ooyala has appointed Patricio Cummins as its APJ vice-president.

"Patricio's rich experience in the industry will help broadcasters and media companies in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region address the dynamic content supply chain landscape today," said chief executive Jonathan Huberman.

"With his visionary leadership and track record in moving the needle for our LatAm business, I am confident that he will continue the very strong growth we are seeing in the region today."

Cummins has worked for Ooyala since 2014, most recently as regional vice-president for Latin America.

He is also the founder of Argentine video technology company LSD Live, and previously worked for Kit Digital, Land on Fire Productions, and TVNZ.

Cummins holds a degree in psychology from the University of Buenos Aires.

Steve Davis, Cummins' predecessor in the APJ role, is now Ooyala's chief revenue officer.
