Online digital marketplace Oneflare has boosted its leadership team with the appointment of entrepreneur, start-up and technology marketplace expert Greg Willis and experienced chief operating officer Cassie Dessein.

Willis, who has worked in technology and product leadership roles for more than 20 years, has joined as chief technology officer, and Dessein is a 10-year veteran of the global start-up industry.

Willis previously built and led product and technology teams in Australian technology marketplaces Menulog Group, Carsguide.com.au and Cudo, while Dessein was one of the first employees at Groupon where she led teams from its inception in Chicago through to IPO and global expansion.

Prior to Oneflare, Dessein led operations at Australian order-ahead app HeyYou.

Oneflare chief executive Billy Tucker said, “We are delighted to be adding such great talent to the leadership team at Oneflare as we enter our next phase of growth”.

“Greg is one of Australia’s top scale-up CTOs, having led technology groups at three of the country’s best known marketplaces, and Cassie’s global experience makes her the ideal candidate to help us bring the organisation to the next level.”
