Fraud, location and identity data intelligence specialist GBG has appointed Carol Chris as regional general manager for Australia.

"I'm delighted to welcome Carol to our growing Australian and APAC team. Carol brings a wealth of experience that will be instrumental in expanding and supporting GBG’s growth, whilst leading and developing our talented teams," said executive managing director for APAC June Lee.

"As we grow, we need to continue to innovate and understand what drives success for our customers. Carol’s appointment will help to ensure we continue to understand the market and our customers, strengthen operations, and support our 19,000 global customers to capitalise on the significant market opportunities ahead."

Chris has 20 years’ experience in B2B businesses, and joins GBG from Equifax, where she was executive general manager.

She previously held management positions at Veda and Optus.

Chris holds a BComm from the University of Wollongong.
