Cloud solutions provider Veritec has appointed Greg Mace as its general manager for sales.

"Greg has a strong history in sales and delivery and a reputation for driving strong relationships with customers," said chief executive Keiran Mott.

"We are pleased to have Greg on board, and look forward to growing Veritec and helping our customers deliver on their digital transformation agendas."

Mace has more than 20 years' experience in the ICT industry, and joined Veritec from Oracle where he was Australian public sector customer experience sales director.

He previously spent six years at Avanade for six years in several positions, including as director for the health and public sector, and group manager in the chief technology office.

Earlier in his career Mace served as principal consultant at Pcubed, and also spent more than a decade as a federal public servant at the Australian Taxation Office and the Department of Defence.

"I am extremely excited to be joining Veritec," said Mace.

"The company's reputation for delivering real customer results is already exemplary, and the organisation is uniquely positioned to further this reputation helping customers to maximise their Microsoft investment and achieve true service transformation."
