M-Files hires Shankar as regional channel sales engineer

Information management vendor M-Files has appointed Karthik Shankar as ANZ channel sales engineer.

"Karthik's technical expertise and knowledge, along with his skills in sales and business, make him an outstanding addition to the M-Files team," said M-Files ANZ alliance and partner manager Chris Smith.

"Karthik has a proven track record of acting as a reliable counterpart for customers and partners to help them achieve their business goals. M-Files partners and customers alike will benefit from his experience and skills."

Shankar has more than 13 years' experience in IT systems and solutions.

He joins M-Files from Konica Minolta Australia, where he worked as a technical consultant.

Shankar previously worked as a senior solutions analyst at Toshiba Australia, an IT analyst at Fresenius Kabi, and a client technical specialist at IBM.

He holds a bachelor's degree in in information systems engineering from Multimedia University (Malaysia) and a master's in information technology from UTS.

"M-Files is well positioned for growth as it is a mature and proven intelligent information management solution," said Shankar

"COVID-19 has meant that many organisations are fast-tracking their digitisation and need a holistic, easy-to-use platform to assist with that.
