Laufer takes on ANZ for Qualtrics

Customer experience vendor Qualtrics has appointed Jason Laufer to the role of country manager for Australia and New Zealand.

"Jason is one of ANZ's best business leaders, and I am delighted he has joined Qualtrics as we embark on an exciting new chapter. His experience working with some of the world's leading software companies and clear dedication to his teams is a great asset to our customers and employees and I can't wait to see the success he brings," said Qualtrics APJ managing director Brigid Archibald.

Laufer joins Qualtrics from LinkedIn where he spent nearly six years in a variety of senior roles, most recently that of Asia Pacific senior director of learning solutions and employee engagement.

He previously worked for IBM (most recently as director of the company's mobile business in Asia Pacific), Microsoft (culminating in the role of group manager for mid-market and inside sales), and at Gateway as national small business and consumer sales manager.

Laufer is on the advisory boards of WithYouWithMe and Swinburne University of Technology's Centre for the New Workforce.

"We are experiencing a time of accelerated change, where all organisations and government are needing to improve each of the experiences they deliver. Qualtrics is providing a unique purview across customer, employee, product and brand, tying these together to add significant value and market advantage for our customers," he said.

"From the outset of my conversations with Qualtrics, I have been inspired by the company's culture and vision for experience management."

Other recent senior appointments at Qualtrics include that of Brad Anderson as president of products and services, and Abhi Ingle to COO of revenue operations, pre-sales and Industry.
