Judge joins GetMee as commercial advisor

By

Communication coaching specialist GetMee has engaged Virginia Judge as its commercial advisor.

"As a former Labor politician with various ministerial portfolios including Fair Trading, Arts and Citizenship in the NSW Parliament, we are delighted to have Virginia join GetMee," said GetMee founder and CEO Balendran Thavarajah.

"In addition, Virginia has held board positions in respected organisations such as the Australian Museum Sydney and has now been appointed to the board of governors."

Early in her career, Judge worked as a primary and secondary teacher, and was an NSW MLA between 2003 and 2011.

She subsequently worked as head of strategic partnerships at the Children's Medical Research Institute and as business development manager at the Heart Research Institute, and has served various cultural institutions as a director or board member.

"I am very selective with the companies I give my time and energy to. The GetMee mission resonated with me; the product is innovative and can make a meaningful difference in people's lives. I look forward to working with the team," said Judge.

She holds a BEd from Canberra College of Advanced Education (now the University of Canberra), and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

According to Thavarajah, "GetMee is effectively a private coach, and the customer's data stays securely on the mobile device.

"Corporate teams will have the ability to enhance the clarity of their communication to increase productivity, increase English language proficiency, and social and emotional skills."
