Eroad hires Hogan as CTO

New Zealand based telematics specialist Eroad has appointed Tim Hogan to the role of chief technology officer.

“We are very pleased to add Tim’s significant leadership and technical capability and global experience to drive Eroad's technology offering. Tim has been key to the successful growth of a number of globally recognised entertainment technology brands," said Eroad CEO Steven Newman.

“As we accelerate our growth strategies, Tim’s experience will be invaluable.

“We’ve got ambitious growth plans and a strong team of highly capable people who are dedicated to helping solve our customers problems. We look forward to Tim joining us and leading our technology function as we continue to expand Eroad's platform to become the global leader in vehicle telematics.”

Hogan most recently worked as chief innovation officer at Webedia Entertainment.

Previously, he served as platform vice president at Warner Bros, CTO at MightyTicket, general manager of Xona Media, vice president of digital distribution platforms at TiVo, and vice president of product development at Premier Retail Networks. Hogan was also co-founder of DVD Station.

Hogan studied management and technology at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.
