"Most of Davidson's clients are repositioning themselves for digital transformation in a post-COVID environment," said Davidson Group CEO Bruce Davidson.
"Paul and Stuart have a wealth of experience that will help Davidson do more for our clients. Digital transformations are crucial to enhancing workplace performance, be that through enhancing service to customers, improving efficiencies for employees or suppliers or reducing risks."
He added "Paul's strategic thinking and global experience in leading technology teams, combined with his customer-centric lens, makes him the perfect fit to lead Davidson's technology services. We're very fortunate to have someone with his vast network, knowledge and expertise join our team."
Timmins was most recently global director of DXC Technology's Microsoft practice.
He previously served as COO at CSC Australia and at UXC, after spending six years as managing director of UXC Connect (previously Getronics Australia).
Timmins has also held senior roles at Hyder Consulting, Solution 6, CV Services International, Austin Knight, and Memorex Telex.
He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Mitchell CAE.
"The opportunity to join Davidson came at the right time," said Timmins. "A time when I was keen to work for a growing Australian-owned business, which would allow me to work closely with an experienced leadership team, coordinate a strategy going forward and then execute that strategy."
He added "As we come out of COVID, the role technology plays will all be focused on two things – ramping up digital transformation and changing offerings to be more centred around what the customers want and the change they demand from their companies, This creates strong opportunities for us as a leading Australian workplace performance consultancy."
Stuart Lindsay brings 17 years of experience in recruitment firms in the UK, Middle East and Australia, with a particular focus on sourcing technology talent for the banking and finance sector.
He joined Davidson from FinXL, where he was director of banking and financial services.
Lindsay previously worked for Finite IT Recruitment Solutions and Aurec in Sydney, and for Reed Technology in London and the Middle East.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Open University (UK).
"The opportunity to work with the team at Davidson Technology and the Davidson executive team appealed to me because of their incredible passion and enthusiasm to genuinely help companies enhance their workplaces," he said.
"My background is in building and leading technology recruitment teams and working with clients to fulfil requirements and Paul's background is in running technology teams and being at the coalface of what our clients are going through. That combined experience makes our offering more understanding and strong."
