CA va aurevoir for Falkenstein as Cox appointed new A/NZ MD

By

Janice Cox is the new vice-president and managing director of CA Technologies Australia and New Zealand, effective immediately, after Paul Falkenstein's nearly 20 years with the company.

CA Technologies has announced the immediate appointment of Janice Cox as vice president and managing director, Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ).

Cox replaces Paul Falkenstein who, after almost 20 years with the company — his last year as CA A/NZ managing director — will graciously stay on to "ensure a smooth transition into the business for Cox before starting his well-earned retirement".

Cox was most recently with Telstra where she was a director in its Managed Customer segment, and prior to that, the vice-president of Hewlett Packard's Personal Systems Group, with the rest of Cox's history at her LinkedIn page

As the new MD for Australia & New Zealand, Cox's responsibility is, as you would expect, "driving sales, building the partner ecosystem, developing new business and managing overall operations".

She will report directly to Martin Mackay, president and GM of CA Technologies, Asia Pacific & Japan.

Mackay said: “ANZ is an important market for CA. Therefore, it was essential we found the right candidate to continue delivering value to our customers and driving the business in ANZ.

"I firmly believe Janice’s business acumen, market knowledge and experience leading teams to achieve sales, revenue and customer satisfaction targets make her the perfect fit for our team.

“I’d also like to thank Paul for his 20 years of dedication to CA. During this time, he has been instrumental to the success of the business having held numerous regional-level roles as well as area management roles leading both our Japanese and Australian businesses.

"While I know there is a tropical island calling his name, I appreciate Paul’s commitment to our ANZ employees, partners and customers as he works with Janice to ensure a smooth transition for all.”
