Accenture’s Mishra joins Covata

Data protection software solutions company Covata has appointed former Accenture senior executive Satyarth Mishra as vice-president of Sales, with responsibility for the Asia Pacific and Middle East and Africa regions.

Mishra was an ANZ Managing Director within Acccenture's technology portfolio before joining Covata.

He also has significant previous experience in sales and business development from roles including ANZ/Oceania regional director at Tech Mahindra, country manager Australia and Malaysia at HCL Technologies, and managing director Australia and head of Global Sales at Ness Technologies.

With extensive experience across the Australasian region and the public sector, Mishra has also expertise working with the telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, retail and transportation industries.

Covata chief commercial officer Derek Brown said: “We are thrilled to have Satyarth join our executive team, as we focus on accelerating our current sales momentum.

We look forward to leveraging his broad industry experience and relationships to drive further opportunities and sales in the telco, government and managed services channels”.
